Hidden leaks are sneaky. By the time you notice something is wrong - a damp smell, water stains, or a cabinet that just doesn't feel right - the damage behind the wall has usually been building for a while. That's exactly the kind of situation we walked into on this one.

The leak was traced back to an outside hydrant line running behind the wall. Once we got eyes on it, we could see the mess it had already started to make - darkened framing, moisture damage at the base, and a shut-off valve that wasn't doing its job anymore. This is what a hidden water leak looks like when it finally gets opened up.

We made the repair to the leaking line and replaced the shut-off valve with a new one. That second part matters a lot. A functioning shut-off valve means you have real control over that water supply line - whether it's for routine maintenance or cutting the flow fast in an emergency. It's a small thing that makes a big difference.

Water leaks behind walls and cabinets don't fix themselves, and they don't get smaller. If your water bill has crept up for no obvious reason, you're hearing dripping when everything's off, or something just feels off with your plumbing - don't sit on it. That's exactly what our water leak and emergency plumbing services are built for.
