This week was a busy one. We knocked out a solid mix of jobs - water heater installs, water heater flushing, PRV replacements, and kitchen faucet installs. Different homes, different problems, same standard of work across all of them.
One of the installs was a Bradford White gas water heater set up in a basement utility room. Clean copper connections, expansion tank mounted up top, and proper venting tied in. Bradford White is a brand we trust - built in the USA, reliable, and built to last. When we put in a new water heater, we make sure everything around it is done right too, not just the unit itself.
The PRV work is something a lot of homeowners don't think about until they notice weak flow or hear banging pipes. A pressure reducing valve controls the water pressure coming into your home. When it fails, you can end up with too much pressure hammering your pipes - or not enough pressure to do anything useful. We got a new one dialed in and tied into the existing copper supply line. It's one of those behind-the-scenes fixes that makes a real difference in how your plumbing performs every day.
We also ran a drain snake on a backed-up floor drain. That kind of blockage doesn't fix itself, and waiting usually just makes it worse. Getting the cable in and clearing it out is straightforward work, but catching it early saves a lot of headaches. On the other end of the spectrum, we wrapped up a kitchen faucet install - a brushed nickel bridge-style faucet with a side sprayer, clean and functional. Faucet repair and replacement is one of those calls we get all the time, and we're happy to handle it.
Whether it's a full water heater swap or a clogged drain that needs clearing, we handle it all. No job is too big or too small for the SOS Plumbing and Sewer Services team.
